A10 Rust Monster Cage:
Inside this room waits a Rust Monster. Sealed in behind a door made of humanoid & Animal bones. The creature has been trained by the Grimlocks to occasionally expect treats of iron and steel. Its antenna poke thru the holes of the door as the Heroes approach – it can smell their weapons and armor. Piles of rust cover the ground like an overflowing litter-box.
The Rust Monster will not advance on the heroes so long as the door remains closed. If the door is opened it will eat the closest source of metal – the assumption is that it is being fed. Only If the Heroes attack the monster will it attack back, Or if a Grimlock commands it to attack.
If the Guards in A6 are alerted to the presence of intruders they will fetch the Rust Monster and patrol around the corridors Chasing the surface dwellers and their metal. The Grimlocks will direct the beast to hunt and attack the intruders.
