C-Sec Officer Firkus, now SPECTRE Commander Firkus ordered a raid on Ekklos Combine to seize suspected stolen property. Officers Eck, Aaland, D’Tang and Clarke all volunteered to join. Firkus hoped to avoid any confrontation with Ekklos Combine. The new SPECTRE was in the right to exercise unilateral warrant powers. Mont and his Vice squad also joined, along with several officers in heavy armor - as Ekklos Combine had been less than willing to assist in the past.
Meanwhile Dronak was in Prison. Officer Aldrin suspiciously overslept and was racing the C-Sec headquarters.
The Officers reached Ekklos Combine and met with the Chief Security Officer, Albert Martins. Martins protested but recognized the authority of the SPECTRE to act as he pleased. Mont and his Vice team spread out sweeping other floors. Martin stayed on the lower level with Firkus. SPECTRE Firkus directed the officers to the seize a few suspicious servers. Omnitool indicators suggested they housed AI technology. Possibly Geth! Suddenly Mont made an emergency call from elsewhere in the building. Shots were fired, and C-Sec officers engaged Ekklos' private security contractors.
Martin and Firkus both told the others to drop their weapons. Everyone raised weapons on each other. All hell broke loose.
In the firefight, D'Tang used her Biotic telekinesis to pull Martin's rifle from him. Aaland quickly shot dead a few bodyguards around Martin while Clarke apprehended him. Officer Eck went to check on the other C-Sec squads. Eck brought the element of surprise to a counter attack and rescued her undercover friend Devin. In the end several Private guards were killed, The stolen servers were safe, Martin was in custody, and Firkus suffered a panic attack.
As the heroes regrouped, Eck pressed her concerns to Firkus whose meekness had only exacerbated the problem. Firkus was beyond distressed as he had never even used his weapon in the line of duty, let along been in clear danger before. However there was no time to waste. Eck outright demanded an answer from him, “What is your command in this emergency?” Firkus could not muster an answer at first, but then told the officers they needed to secure the evidence and bring it back to HQ.
Leaving Ekklo was much easier than getting in. Soon enough all the computer records of The Mule’s empire were en-route to C-Sec.

Simultaneous to the encounter at Ekkloss Combine, former Officer Dronak reunited with Richard Martins in the walls of his Prison Cell. Martins previously filed false police reports, and was imprisoned, in no small part thanks to Dronak.
This 2nd meeting was not so hostile however. Dronak had come to hold great suspicions of Richard's Cousin Albert Martins. Of Albert, the Ekkloss security team and the company at large... Richard explained he knew something was amiss but had no proof - thus he faked a concern to C-Sec. Dronak forgave Richard but also requests his help in getting out. Despite the severe consequences he's already suffered, he refuses to let the matter go. The two fill each other in on what they know. Dronak learns that almost all the the Prison's security force is robotic. Surveillance is minimal to cut costs... Richard Learns that Ekkloss is tied to The Mule.
Dronak mock fights Martin's slamming his around their cell to attract a robot guard. Two arrive and attempt to taze the Krogan - to no effect. Dronak rips an arm off of a robot and uses it to open his cell door. The pair make a dash thru the halls of the prison. Soon enough they realize it is inverted. They do not need to go down - towards outer space; they go up, to the streets of the Citadel.
As they flee they pass by the office of Henry Lawson. Richard copies his records for good measure... They pull the master security switch and set off a mass prison break to cover their escape.
They return to the Citadel Wards to regroup with Firkkus' SPECTRE team.
Meanwhile, Officer Aldrin arrived late to C-Sec headquarters and was surprised to find it empty. A quick look at the schedule records shows that all officers were set far and wide patrolling the citadel.
Within HQ it was only he and an intruder. Camera feed clearly showed another body in the building- but their Omnitool had its IDs turned off.
Aldrin spied on this somebody. He took note of them interfacing and illegally modifying computer terminals. With no one else around Aldrin decided to enter the Danger Zone and go after the Saboteur.
However, in a turn of bad luck they both surprised each other around a corner. A deadly tussle followed. With bullets ripping thru computer monitors. Aldrin was overpowered by the larger saboteur, but ultimately tazed the Saboteur with his Neural shocks.
He then discovered this was no intruder at all. It was a mole, a C-Sec officer was overriding security protocols. As he scanned the villains Omnitool, it was clear he was acting on the orders of The Mule - and Vice Officer Mont!
There was no time to waste. Mont and the rest of the SPECTRE squad would return from Ekkloss in mere minutes. Mont would most certainly realize he was discovered...
Quickly and discreetly, Aldrin formulated a plan with the other officers via internet massaging. As Mont got back to HQ, the heroes bogged him down with evidence and paperwork. As swiftly as possible, the others moved the Ekkloss servers to an evidence bunker and searched for data on the Mule.
They needed to corner him before Mont realized the jig was up, and reported in.
Conveniently, the heroes had a few lucky breaks! The servers were easily decrypted with the same code they recovered from the illegal factory computer. They also found the Mule to be a chatterbox and easily triangulated his location. The Mule's many internet communications betrayed him.
Firkkus and Eck raced to the Mule's physical location to arrest him. Aldrin and Clarke began the long process of download and analysis.
Aaland and D'Tang hounded Mont with endless disruptions... eventually he grew wise - just as Eck and Firkkus put the cuffs on The Mule. The Mule turned out to be an annoying man - who cried police brutality and criticized them needlessly. In the last moments of the day. Aldrin and Clarke saw a buzz of activity from the Mules Servers...
Mont fled C-Sec HQ with Aaland in pursuit. Although Aaland gave chase and never let this turncoat out of his sight, he was blindsided by a school bus in cross traffic. He lost eyes on the fleeing suspect when he lost consciousness.
